This training is specifically for medical, healthcare, behavioral health and social services personnel. It is designed to teach you how to identify a victim, and how to respond to and report suspicious activity within your sphere of influence. Learn how to become a circle of protection around your patients and clients at this in-depth event, as you educate your staff on what trafficking is, and how it has made its way into our communities. You will be equipped with information to prepare an appropriate assistance plan for intervention in behalf of victims, and to impact our local community health status. Join us as we seek to shine light on this dangerous issue, and keep those around us safe.

This course is approved by the Michigan Social Work Continuing Education Collaborative. Approval # 010218-00 for 2 CE hours. The Collaborative is the approving body for the Michigan Board of Social Work; approved by MCBAP (Michigan Certification Board for Addiction Professionals) for 2 Related Contact Hours, and approved for 2 AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)™ by MidMichigan Health office of CME.
