On this month’s Light Up Your World, we are privileged to hear from the heart of another courageous survivor. Join us on Monday, February 27 along with special guest speaker Pearl and WAR, Int’l Founder and President Rebecca McDonald for a conversation on trauma and healing.
As a survivor of childhood sexual abuse and trafficking, Pearl will share with us her healing journey and provide an honest picture of the road to recovery. You will be inspired by her faith and perseverance in finding her voice so she can speak up not only for herself but also on behalf of all those who are struggling with the impact of trauma in their lives. The journey from survivor to thriver is long and arduous, yet Pearl has persisted in picking up the broken pieces with the assurance that God has been with her every step of the way.
Mark your calendars and join us on February 27, 2023, at 7:30 pm EST. Free for all to attend, we would love to see you and connect. Click the link below to join us via Zoom the night of the event!

On this month’s Light Up Your World, hear from special guest Misty Moore who is Hancock County’s Director of Homeland Security and a certified self-defense instructor! Mark your calendars and join us on Monday, April 24 at 7:30 pm EST for a conversation with Misty and WAR, Int’l founder and president Rebecca McDonald on ending the cycle of human trafficking and exploitation.
With over 15 years of law enforcement background and self-defense training and teaching experience, Misty is passionate about empowering women with the knowledge and skills to defend themselves against any type of threat. Misty also has experience volunteering as a Security Director at a home for trafficking survivors, and it was her work in this facility that inspired her to begin her own self-defense training company.
Come ask your questions and hear how, together, we can be empowered to not only protect ourselves but also wage war against the evils of human trafficking. Free for all to attend, we would love to see you and connect. Click the button below to join us via Zoom the night of the event!
