While Kade is not originally from Indonesia, that certainly hasn’t stopped her from making it her new “home away from home.” In many ways it is more of a home to her than the one she left deep within the jungles of Indonesia’s neighboring Papua New Guinea. There the life she knew was full of racial tension, fighting, a lack of educational opportunities, inadequate medical attention, and an over exposure to liquor and drugs. Unable to provide for them any longer, Kade’s parents sent her and her little sister to Restoration of Indonesia where they are cared for, loved, and given a new life. Funds from Restoration Coffee help enable Kade and other girls to live in safety, pursue an education, and dream about their future!
