Carolina’s family is still there—in the worst slum in town. She is the only one from her family to leave the slums. She strove to pull herself up from it, and through the micro-loan program she is now running a manicure, pedicure, and massage salon. She is a woman who had a dream, who had the will, but who lacked the resources. WAR, Int’l was able to assist her and give her the capital to get started. Women worldwide have incredible resiliency, dreams, hope, and power, but they need someone to invest in them. The response is great: incredible joy and a life filled with dignity.
