Bio
Sierra Skye Baker recently graduated from Cornerstone University with a Bachelors of Music for Commercial Music: Vocal performance. Last year, she had the privilege of attending the Contemporary Music Center in Nashville, Tennessee. The three-month program included songwriting, recording, and even touring Texas with other musicians involved in the program. Since then, she has completed her undergraduate studies with several contemporary performances with the University Jazz Ensemble, a successful senior recital in February featuring 16 fellow musicians, and a three-week tour to Europe with her University Chorale in May. She is a facilitator at Grand Rapids Children’s museum and hopes to become certified to teach at Joyful Sounds Music Studio in the Fall.
Sierra enjoys singing and playing guitar in church, at summer camp, as well as at school, and is excited for the opportunity to be involved with Women At Risk, International, where she volunteered in high school, for this Acoustic Mic night at the Tea Trade Café.
