Join the WAR Chest Boutique for our Galentine’s with Purpose on Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 11am to 2pm.
Help us celebrate 20 years of impact through Women at Risk, International. On Valentine’s Day this year, let’s gather the women who are special to us and take some time to remember the countless lives that have been surrounded by circles of protection, lifted to dignity, given purpose and hope through wrap-around services offered by our partners worldwide and also here in the USA. While people around us celebrate romantic love, let’s celebrate the work of true love in action.
The event is an open-house style. Drop by anytime from 11am-2pm to enjoy our special activities and take some time to Shop with Purpose. The first 20 guests receive a door prize handmade right here in our U.S. Training Center! After the 20th door prize is given out, additional pieces will be available for sale (Hint – it’s a necklace, and it is CUTE! You’re going to want one!). Spend $25 or more that day in our boutique, and enjoy a free gift with purchase.
Everyone will have an opportunity to enter a gift-basket drawing, test some spa products, and enjoy refreshments. Walk through our display of 20 Roses and read the highlights from WAR International’s impact throughout the years. Be encouraged with “love notes” written to you from our staff members, and write your own notes to be shared with women who need a word of hope. Sponsor a rose by making a donation to our 911 Rescue Fund which allows WAR, Int’l to respond to urgent needs of the women we serve when the needs arise.
Share this event with your friends and family, and bring them along with you.

Join us Monday, February 23, 2026 at 7:30 pm (ET) for our monthly Zoom Meet-Up.
Join us for a special gathering as we hear directly from a survivor who participated in a Circle Tour. Through personal reflection and lived experience, she will share what it meant to walk alongside partners, see rescue and restoration firsthand, and witness hope unfolding across borders. This powerful conversation offers a rare glimpse into the impact of Circle Tours—and the lives changed along the way.

Paint with Joy: Expressive Botanicals!
Date: Saturday March 21
Time: 10:30-12:30
Cost: $30
Registration open until 5:00pm, Monday, March 16, 2026
Treat yourself or someone else (or both of you!) to a fun girls’ day out! No previous skills required. Come as you are! You will be led step by step to create a masterpiece you can hang in your home, workplace, or give as a gift. Adults and teens are welcome.
Our boutique manager, Joy, is a hobby-artist who loves to unwind and relax by painting or drawing. She enjoys various art mediums including watercolor, gouache, acrylic, paint markers, and colored pencils! Her “make your own mixed media greeting card” class at the WAR Chest Boutique was a hit, and she’s back to share her expertise with you in a fun new class.
As we look forward to spring, we’ll paint some botanical, floral artwork inspired by Scandinavian art prints and Joy’s favorite flower: tulips! Please wear something you won’t mind getting paint on! There’s no need to dress up for this occasion. It’s a cozy, laid back experience.
The cost of the class includes some light refreshments and all art supplies necessary! You will also receive a free 30-day trial of the art app, Cupixel, which pairs state-of-the-art technology with live and on-demand content enabling anyone to experience the joy and satisfaction of creating art, regardless of their artistic skill. Cupixel has kindly donated some of their proprietary device stands so we can use their tracing technology during this class. Their tech requires a smart-phone or device. If you do not have a device available, we can provide another way to trace the design on your canvas. Joy will encourage you to use their app if you can. (It’s a lot of fun!) She’s excited to share it with you, and we thank Cupixel for their kind donation! If you wish to continue creating art after the class, you’ll find loads of inspiration through their app. Beyond the 30-day trial, you’ll have the option to continue with a paid membership.
Shopping in the boutique will be available before and after the event. Participants will be offered 10% off one item at regular price the day of the class as a thank you for attending! The boutique opens at 10:00am and closes at 3:00pm. If you don’t feel your painting is finished at 12:30, you will be welcome to stay a while later to complete it.
The example images are just that: examples! You’ll be able to customize your painting with the colors and details of your choice! We can’t wait to see your final products!
