Our very own boutique manager, Joy, is a hobby-artist who loves creating greeting cards and small works of art. She enjoys mixed-media, typically layering watercolor paintings with pen, pencil, ink, or acrylic paint pen markings. Painting an doodling can be very therapeutic. It’s a great way to de-stress after a long day or a long week! For this class, Joy will share some of what she’s learned and teach a few basics so you can create your own beautiful mixed media card. Follow along as she walks you through a basic floral greeting card, or branch out and create your own thing.

All supplies will be provided. Make up to 2 cards while you’re here. You can customize your greeting, or add no message at all. Your card can truly be whatever you want it to be. Wish your mom a happy Mother’s Day, congratulate your friends on their marriage or new baby, say a simple thank-you, or let someone know you’ve been missing them. This is your opportunity to get creative, relax, and have fun. We’re offering this class for FREE, but donations to Women at Risk, International are always welcome. Registration is required because space is limited.
