Dear WARriors:
In honor of the 20th Anniversary of Women At Risk, International (WAR, Int’l), we are expanding our Ornament Campaign in hopes of expanding our reach to wounded and at-risk women around the world. We graciously ask if you would consider hosting an Ornament Tree at your place of business this year.
Why Ornament Campaign?
In order to reach into the hidden hearts and lives of Middle Eastern women, WAR, Int’l has created business partnerships with glass factories in Egypt. By cultivating relationships with the male artisans in the glass factories, we gain privileged interaction with their wives and daughters, allowing us to design programs specific to their culture. As needs are brought to our attention, we offer educational scholarships, vocational opportunities, and medical aid. Profits from ornament sales also help sponsor a safehouse. As WAR, Int’l builds these relationships and programs in the Middle East, we whisper messages of worth and value to the women we reach.
Your purchase communicates to these women that they are beautiful and deserve to be treasured and protected—just like the hand-blown glass ornaments fashioned by their fathers and husbands.
Our Ornament Campaign is an easy and beautiful way to bring hope and shine light into the lives of at-risk women and children around the world. With your help, these hand-blown pyrex glass ornaments with 12k gold paint are available for your patrons to purchase—right off the display in your office! The ornaments are our number one selling product and every $300 in sales shelters a woman in one of our international safehouses for a month!
How Does Ornament Campaign Work?
· We send a team to your business to set up the ornament display if you are in the West Michigan area. If you are outside of our delivery area, we will ship the ornaments to you.
· Set-up and tear-down or ornament shipping to and from your office are free of charge. Ornaments arrive during the first few weeks of November, with tear-down in January.
· Order forms and prepaid return payment envelopes are provided. We ask that you mail back the filled-out order forms and payments in the prepaid envelope every couple of weeks.
· If at any point you start running low on ornaments, we are happy to provide replenishments.
