E-Commerce Lead

The E-Commerce Lead is a full-time position that will be responsible for all ongoing web-based sales efforts of WAR Chest Boutique, Tea Trade Café, and Etsy as well as maintenance, editing and troubleshooting for WARChestBoutique.com, TeaTradeCafe.com and ETSY account. This position will report to the Chief of Staff.

WAR, Int’l was established in 2006. We are represented in all 50 states, with partnerships in over 50 different countries, including the United States. Our goal is to create circles of protection and hope around women and children at risk through culturally sensitive, value-added, intervention projects.

Responsibilities

This individual will be responsible for the following tasks as well as any additional tasks as seen fit by the organization:

  • Manage and grow E-Commerce Department along with creation of SOP’s
  • Develop and advise on E-Commerce Departmental plans of action for sales growth
  • Department budget development and management
  • E-Commerce inventory recommendations, management and reporting for WEB and ETSY sales channels
  • Oversee department staff including Web Operations Coordinator(s)
  • Hire and train new departmental employees
  • Ongoing research against organization metrics, audience, channel, influencers, message content and positioning
  • Manage and update website content and functionality of WAR Chest Boutique and Tea Trade Café websites, and ETSY sales account, along with the following for each:
    • SEO
    • Assist in SEM activities
    • Comparative analysis, reoccurring metrics and return on investment reporting
    • E-Commerce sales forecasting
    • Theme file and structural code editing as needed
  • Advise on new and existing marketing/advertising campaigns

Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Web Development, Marketing, or Business required
  • High competency in Microsoft Office Suite, Shopify, WordPress CMS, HTML, CSS
  • Web-programming skills preferred
  • 2 years E-Commerce website management experience required
  • Analytical and comfortable with inventory analysis
  • High-level organization, acute attention to detail, strong problem solving
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks on a timely basis
  • Staff management experience required
  • Non-profit experience desired
