Job: E-Commerce Coordinator

The E-Commerce Coordinator is a 25-30 hour a week position that will be responsible for all ongoing web-based sales efforts of, the online retail arm of Women At Risk, International. The Coordinator will also be responsible for maintenance, editing and coding on the website in addition to other sales and marketing related tasks.

WAR, Int’l was established in 2006. We are represented in all 50 states, with partnerships in more than 50 countries, including the United States. Our goal is to create circles of protection and hope around women and children at risk through culturally sensitive, value-added intervention projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

This individual will be responsible for the following tasks, as well as any additional tasks determined by the organization:

  • Manage and grow E-Commerce platforms
  • Develop and advise on plans of action for sales growth
  • E-Commerce inventory recommendations, management, and reporting on sales channel performance
  • Oversee department staff including Web Operations Coordinator(s) along with Product Manager
  • Ongoing research against organization metrics, audience, channel, influencers, message content and positioning
  • Manage and update website content and functionality of websites along with the following for each:
    • SEO
    • Assist in SEM activities
    • Comparative analysis, reoccurring metrics and return on investment reporting
    • E-Commerce sales forecasting
    • Theme file and structural code editing as needed
  • Advise on new and existing marketing/advertising campaigns in collaboration with Marketing Manager and Product Department
  • Send out and report on customer surveys and buying patterns
  • Assist Marketing & Product Departments on monthly and quarterly photoshoots
  • Special project research, proposal and completion, as directed
  • Any other responsibilities the leadership deem valuable or necessary

Skills & Abilities

  • Coding experience REQUIRED
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Web Development, Marketing, or Business preferred
  • High competency in Google Suite, Shopify or other eComm platform,  CMS, HTML
  • Web programming skills preferred
  • 2+ years E-Commerce website experience preferred, 1 year required
  • Analytical and comfortable with inventory analysis
  • High-level organization, acute attention to detail, strong problem solving
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks on a timely basis
  • Non-profit experience desired
